What’s my shift stick thread size?

What’s my shift stick thread size?

We found as many shift stick thread sizes as we could, but the list isn’t complete, and not guaranteed to be accurate. Always check and confirm your thread size!

If you have the original knob,  you can take it into a hardware store like Lowes, Home Depot, or Ace. Most of these stores will have a nut and bolt testing station. If you don’t have the knob, then you may be able to take the stick or a nut that fits on the stick to one of these stores. Or, buy a “nut and bolt thread size checker in metric and SAE.”

Many modern vehicles don’t have threaded sticks. You can use the Lo-Dapt Shift Knob Adapter to add threaded knobs. https://gennieshifter.com/products/lo-dapt-shift-knob-adaptor

The thread size for our knobs is listed on our product listing. Let us know if we can help you find the right adapter!
